Wondering what to with those wonderful old t-shirts that have such sentimental meaning, but they have been taking up dresser and closet space for years? You really want to get rid of them, but you just can’t – or someone won’t let you. Here’s your chance to turn them into something special. How about a pillow, lap quilt or bed quilt? Stabilizing stretchy fabrics, sewing on dissimilar types of fabrics, and use of color to make t-shirt blocks pop will be taught. Sign up for class and bring those special memories out into the open once again.

Laminate Tote

What is “laminate”? It is vinyl coated cotton fabric that is durable and washable, making it the perfect choice for bags! Learn to make a fun, versatile laminate tote bag in one class. Techniques taught in this class are sewing on laminate, adding a lining, batting selections, making pockets and adding different types of handles. This is a beginning bag making class.

Toothbrush Rug

A “Toothbrush Rug” is made from torn strips of fabric and a modified toothbrush. Making rugs is fast, fun, and requires no sewing! A cotton toothbrush rug is machine washable, dryable and will last for years. Now you can finally have a rug in the perfect color to match any room in your home!

Quilting 101 NEW SESSION

A comprehensive introduction to quilting. Meets for 6 weeks and covers all aspects of making a quilt, including proper cutting techniques, various block patterns, accurate piecing, machine quilting, and binding. Class meets for six sessions.
